KATRA MATA VAISHNODEVI EX DELHI

One of the holiest Hindu temples, the shrine of Vaishno Devi is dedicated to the Goddess Shakti. Affectionately also called as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, the temple is the manifestation of the Mother Goddess. The temple is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft., a distance of approx. 12 kms from Katra.

Our Itinerary: Jammu – Katra – Banganga – Katra – Jammu

Day 01: Katra (Jammu – Katra)
Arrival at Jammu Airport. Pickup from Jammu Airport to Katra by Car.
O/N in hotel at Katra.

Day 02: Katra City Tour
Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan – one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated, at an altitude of around 5200 feet.
Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by Helicopter (Need to be booked by guest on shrine board website) or battery operated cars which one can get from midway (need to be booked well in advance on shrine board website), Ponies/Palkis. Guest can also visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Mandir (One can go Bhairo Mandir by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan , tickets for which can be booked on real time basis)
After visiting the temples, return back to the hotel in Katra and relax for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Katra – Departure
Breakfast. Morning free for Leisure. Check-out at 12 noon to Airport.
