Hemkund Sahib is a popular pilgrimage tour in Uttarakhand, India. Hemkund Sahib is a sacred site for Sikhs, located at an altitude of 4,329 meters in the Chamoli district. Our tour package typically includes transportation, accommodation, and meals for a 6-7 day trip. SUGGESTED DAY WISE ITINERARY:
Day 01: Delhi to Rishikesh
Meet and greet by our driver who will take you on the drive towards Rishikesh, on arrival
check in to the hotel, later you can take a city tour of Rishikesh, later in the evening visit
Triveni Ghat to witness evening Ganga Aarti.

Day 02: Rishikesh to Joshimath (272 kms / 8-9 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Joshimath via Devprayag is a
holy city that is at the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, after this the rivers
become the holy Ganges. We Arrive at Joshimath in the evening and check into a hotel for
dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Joshimath to Ghangaria (25 kms / 5-6 hrs)
After having breakfast, start the day with a drive to Govindghat and start trekking to
Ghangaria, there is a gradual ascent along a well-maintained pilgrim trail to Ghangaria. Upon
arrival at Ghangaria check into a hotel. Explore the surroundings in the evening. Dinner and
overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (6 kms on way / 4-5 hrs)
In the morning, we trek to Hemkund Sahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep
climb. In the Sikh holy book, The Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts
that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snow-capped
mountains now recognized as Hemkund. Late afternoon trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner &
overnight stay at the hotel accommodation.

Day 05: Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria (5 kms one-way / 4-5 hrs)
Today after an early breakfast, we start our trek towards the Valley of Flowers (3858 m) from
Ghangaria. The valley is enchanting with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like
Geranium, Marsh etc. The valley is 10 km long, 2 km wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati
stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After absorbing the beauty of
the Valley of Flowers we trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Ghangaria – Govindghat – Rishikesh
Today will be the most complex day on one side as our trek will end here and we will drive
back to Govindghat later we will proceed to drive to Later, we will drive back to Rishikesh. On
arrival check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07: Rishikesh – Delhi
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi, arrive Delhi in the
evening.

- 50% payment at the time of confirmation
- Rest of the payment applicable as per the cancellation policy Cancellation Policy:
- We need to receive a cancellation request in writing for us to proceed with cancellation. The following charges will be applicable based on the cancellation request received by us.

o 60 days prior to departure there will be a 10% deduction on the package cost.
o 59 – 45 days prior to departure: 25% deduction on the package cost.
o 44 – 30 days prior to departure: 45% deduction on the package cost.
o 30 – 15 days prior to departure: 65% deduction on the package cost.
o 15 – 08 days prior to departure: 85% deduction on the package cost.
o 07 days or less: 100% deduction on the package cost - Any non-refundable services or hotel rooms shall be charged over and above the charges mentioned in the above cancellation policy.

- Child rates apply for children aged from 2 to 11 years old. 1 child sharing a room with 2 adults (depending on hotel policy). If the hotel does not have availability for family rooms, adult rates will apply.
- If certain tours / entrances are closed during certain periods, alternative options may be provided.
- Standard check-in time at the hotel is generally 1500 hrs. and check-out 12 Noon.
- Early check-in, late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel and not guaranteed unless paid for.
- We reserve the rights to reschedule the itinerary or routing.
- Unused inclusions in a tour package are non-refundable.
- Tours will be seat in coach basis (Unless mentioned otherwise) where guests have to reach on time at designated pick up point.
- Any delays from your side will be considered a no show. No refund applicable in case of no show.
- Most of the Hotels/ Lodges/ Camps / Apartments may ask for a security deposit at the time of check-in, which is refundable at the time of check-out and is subject to the hotel/lodge’s policy.
- We reserve all rights. Any damages caused whilst on tour shall be borne (paid or settled) locally by the client, we will not be liable for the same.
- In view of the current situation, please be advised that whilst the information and rates quoted are correct as of today’s date – we retain the right to adjust rates based on any changes to current operational or capacity restrictions imposed by Governments or
other Authorities.
